The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new road closures for the Interstate 76/80 pavement rehabilitation in Austintown and Jackson townships.

Beginning Wednesday, the ramp from I-80 east to state Route 46 will be closed through July 8. The detour will be I-80 east to Salt Springs Road to I-80 west to Route 46.

Starting July 6, the following ramps will be closed through late August:

● The ramp from state Route 11 north to I-80 west. The detour will be Interstate 680 south to state Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.

● The ramp from I-680 north to I-80 west. The detour will be Route 711 north to U.S. 422 west to I-80 west.

These closures are in addition to the previously announced closure of the ramp from Route 46 to I-80 westbound through early August. The detour is I-80 eastbound to Salt Springs Road to I-80 westbound.

I-80 east and west is reduced to two lanes between the Meander Reservoir and Route 46. Estimated completion for the project is late October.
