Grand jury indicts 18 on variety of felony charges
YOUNGSTOWN — The following people were indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury on mostly low-level felony cases:
● Gerald Kay, 51, Ridge Road, Cortland, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
● Alex Cherney, no age provided, Cherry Blossom Drive, Canfield, cocaine possession.
● Stacy Yavorcik, 49, Chapel Lane, Campbell, obstructing official business and OVI.
● Tyron Perry, 34, Cuyahoga Street, Akron, aggravated drug possession, cocaine possession and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.
● Edward T. Agee, 19, Evergreen Avenue, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
● Jordan L. Harrison, 18, New Road, Austintown, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
● Elijah Figgs, 18, Applecrest Court, Boardman, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.
● Joshua Maldonado, 38, Andrews Avenue, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property.
● Garry Conrad, 48, Jackson Street, Campbell, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property.
● Elijah Taylor, 46, Mistletoe Avenue, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, theft, tampering with evidence and misdemeanor obstructing official business and theft.
● Brian P. Palumbo, 60, Pinecrest Road, Girard, theft.
●Amir T. Arnold, 21, Akron Boulevard, Kent, domestic violence and strangulation.
● Zachary M. Danicic, 31, Toledo Correctional Institution, Toledo, grand theft of a motor vehicle and theft.
● Brian J. Warchol, 53, Elvira Drive, McDonald, tampering with evidence, aggravated drug possession and misdemeanor OVI.
● Dashawn L. Hayden, 50, Salt Springs Road, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, two counts of cocaine possession and single counts of fentanyl-related compound possession and aggravated drug possession.
● John Cheeseborough, 43, West 19th Street, Lorain, aggravated drug possession.
● Virgil Minniti, 36, Logan Way, drug possession.
● Frederic Faucette, 29, Covington Cove, Austintown, cruelty to companion animals.
The grand jury refused to indict these two people:
Rodney Seabrook and Joseph Day.
