WEATHERSFIELD — Township safety forces responded Wednesday morning after a car drove into the front of a hair salon near the intersection of state Route 46 and Williamson Street.

A 911 spokesman confirmed there was a call of a vehicle crash into Hair Harmony.

There were no reported injuries. The salon sustained significant damage to the front of the building.

Crews were working to remove the vehicle from the building. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
