Poland superintendent search narrowed to 3
Staff report
POLAND — The Poland Board of Education has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to three finalists, who will be interviewed by the board on Monday, according to board president Troy Polis. The finalists are current interim Poland superintendent Andrew Tommelleo, Newton Falls Superintendent Andreas Johansson and Louisville (Ohio) City Schools Assistant Superintendent Anna Minor.
On Monday, Polis said each candidate will rotate through designated stations, including a formal interview with the board in executive session in the high school library, a meeting with district administration and the two district unions in the cafeteria and a private community forum in the auditorium.
At the conclusion of the interview process, the board will consider feedback from the community, district administration, and union leadership. The board intends to make a decision in a timely manner following the completion of Monday’s interviews, Polis said.
