WHAT: Board of Education meeting Wednesday

PRESENT: Amanda O’Neill, Donald Newell, Anna Martin, Josh Barr and William Cummings

The board:

•Accepted the resignation of Katherine Sullivan, paraprofessional, for retirement, effective June 1.

•Approved Mary Mathews-Bebech as a Hubbard High School home instruction tutor for an eighth-grade student for five hours per week.

•Approved Hubbard Middle School Principal David Reel to coordinate the Middle School after-school intervention program for the 2025-26 school year at a stipend of $700 to be paid by Title I funds upon completion.

•Approved the 2026-27 membership between the district and Ohio High School Athletic Association.

•Approved a one-year, 260-day limited contract for Michael O’Rourke Jr. as the districtwide afternoon cleaner.

•Approved the Cuyahoga Community College and Youngstown State University Memorandums of Understanding for College Credit Plus for the 2026-2027 school year.

• Brandon Cantwell
