Here is a roll call of the 13 victims of homicide in 2025 in Youngstown:

1 Brandon Ogden, 27, shot to death Jan. 10 on Ohio Avenue on the North Side. Jonathan Simmons, 30, who is charged with murder, is set for trial Feb. 2.

2 Resean Graham Sr., 42, was found shot to death on Griselda Avenue on the South Side Jan. 24. Kenneth L. Carter, 35, and Terry Hopkins, 23, who are charged with murder, are set for trial Jan. 12.

3 Deandre Stores, 30, was found shot to death in the parking lot of Vibez bar on East Midlothian Boulevard on the South Side on March 3.

4 Daniel Weaver, 30, was found shot to death March 21 on East Lucius Avenue on the South Side.

5 Keondre Lewis, 19, was shot to death March 23 in a home on Rhoda Avenue on the West Side. Willie Wilks, 14, pleaded guilty in Mahoning County Juvenile Court to involuntary manslaughter and was advised in August he will be detained in an Ohio Department of Youth Services lockup up to age 21. But his actual time could be less than 3.5 years depending on how he behaves while detained.

6 Nestor Diaz, 37, was stabbed to death April 4 in the 3700 block of Tippecanoe Road in Youngstown. Camilo Sotolongo-Barreto, 39, is charged with murder and is set for trial March 16.

7 Raymond K. Butler, 28, was shot to death June 8 while driving a car at the corner of Gibson Street and Poland Avenue just south of downtown.

8. Dailyn Ford, 18, was found shot to death June 16 in the road in the 900 block of Lanterman Avenue, near Lanterman’s Mill.

9. Ahlycia Brown, 22, was found shot to death Sept. 6 in her apartment in the 2600 block of Tyrell Avenue on the West Side. Her live-in girlfriend, Devyonna L. Taylor, 23, is charged with murder in her death and has a pretrial Jan. 14.

10. George Westhead, 63, was found dead under a bush behind a home on Almyra Avenue on the South Side Oct. 9. He was reported as a missing person Oct. 8.

11. Samuel Rodriguez-Hernandez, 39, was found dead in a ditch Oct. 19 on Nelson Avenue on the East Side.

12. Kenny Stanton, 40, was fatally shot Nov. 9 on Market Street on the South Side. Another man also was shot in the episode, but survived.

13. Nicole Carbone, 37, was found dead Nov. 10 in a vacant lot at the intersection of Belleview and East Chalmers avenues. She was identified using fingerprints. The death was initially treated as “suspicious” but is now classified as a homicide. She had five children, her obituary states.
