WHAT: City council meeting Dec. 15

PRESENT: Bill Williams, Bonnie Viele, Michael Mogg, Robin Zambrini, Cathy Cummings, Jerome Crowe, Michael Kerr and Ryan Hallapy

Council:

● Passed adopting final line item appropriation amendments in the 2025 budget.

● Passed establishing monthly employee health insurance premiums for the 2026 calendar year.

● Passed authorizing the mayor to enter contracts or a contract for the sale of municipal-owned Transmission, LLC, a subsidiary of American Municipal Power, Inc.

● Passed adopting a new zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations for the city.

● Gave first reading to an ordinance adjusting the compensation of the city’s wastewater superintendent to $80,000 a year and providing two additional weeks of vacation per year.

● Gave first reading to adjusting the compensation of the mayor’s secretary to $47,000 annually.
