YOUNGSTOWN — A Youngstown police officer has been placed on administrative leave after the FBI served a search warrant at the officer’s home.

Andy Resnick, a Youngstown city spokesman, confirmed Friday that the search warrant was served Thursday.

Resnick said that the YPD “is fully cooperating with federal investigators.”

Further details were not available.

An attempt to obtain additional information from the Cleveland office of the FBI Friday was unsuccessful.
