Elderly woman who went missing in Youngstown found in Pennsylvania
YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Police Department announced late Tuesday afternoon that Stella Pittman, 94, who went missing from Youngstown’s North Side Monday night, had been found safe in Beaver Falls, Pa.
She was located by the Pennsylvania State Police, Capt. Jason Simon stated in an email. “Thank you for your assistance in helping us locate her and returning her to her family safely this holiday season,” Simon stated in the followup news release.
Earlier Tuesday, Simon asked for the public to be on the lookout for Pittman and provided details about the car she was driving and a copy of her photo.
