Boardman woman pleads guilty in forgery case
WARREN — A Boardman woman will participate in an intervention-in-lieu-of-conviction program through Trumbull County Common Pleas Court after she pleaded guilty in a forgery case.
Cory Tucker, 30, of West Boulevard, entered her plea Wednesday before Judge Sean O’Brien to two fifth-degree felony charges of forgery and telecommunications fraud, and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with records.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office, Tucker submitted an online application dated Sept. 1, 2023, for a nurse’s aide position at Belmont Pines Behavioral Hospital in Liberty that contained false information. Tucker, whose nurse’s aide license was suspended, also presented to Belmont Pines a forged letter purportedly from the Ohio Department of Health that had her license listed in “good standing,” prosecutors said.
Tucker’s criminal case will be held in abeyance pending her completion of the intervention program
