Youngstown Christmas tree arrives

YOUNGSTOWN – The city’s Christmas tree is up on Central Square.

The tree was donated by Lloyd Mims and the Hyshaw family from a property on Catalina Avenue.

Diamond Steel Construction assisted the city’s parks and recreation staff in removing and transporting the tree Thursday to Central Square.

The city’s annual Holiday Parade is 6 p.m. Dec. 5, followed by the Christmas tree lighting.
