YOUNGSTOWN — Two dominant social service agencies in the Mahoning Valley served bountiful Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate and those facing challenges.
The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley hosted its annual Thanksgiving community dinner Thursday at its Martin Luther King Jr. headquarters.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society served its annual Thanksgiving meal at its Williamson Avenue dining hall on the South Side on Wednesday.
Both events drew sizable crowds.
