The board:

● Recognized the accomplishments of several athletic teams: Boardman Glenwood Junior High seventh grade girls volleyball for AAC Championship, BGJH girls and boys cross country for AAC championship, high school boys cross country for back-to-back state appearances and high school girls cross country for its historic season.

● Approved the following resignations: Jared Cardillo, director of curriculum, retirement; Natalie Winkle, supervisor of food service, retirement; Megan Turillo, Boardman Center Intermediate School, fifth-grade science / social studies teacher, retirement; Sandy Kremer, Boardman High School, cafeteria server; Jody Marlin- Boardman High School guidance secretary, retirement; Bari Sponseller, Boardman High School records secretary, retirement; and Jenna Vaughn, Boardman High School head cheerleading coach.

● Approved the following stipends: Intensive Needs Aide Jennifer Eynon, $6,000; Jody Marlin, room and hall monitor, $50; and Christopher Rhodes, technology coordinator, $50.

● Accepted the following donations: Boardman High School, $100 from the Albert and Rosalyn Miller Donor Advised Fund to the wrestling team; Boardman Glenwood Junior High School, $3,75.47 from the BGJHS PTA to pupil support; Boardman Center Intermediate School, $100 from Melissa Mullane Padgett, DDS, to pupil support; West Boulevard Elementary School, $160 from Eve Staudacher at Walmart for snacks; $19,881 fromThe Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley for the Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence; $7,500 from The Anthony J. Fox Family Foundation to the food pantry; $5,000 from Ameresco Inc. to the facility fund; $3,000 from Phantom Fireworks to the Angel Fund; $100 from an anonymous donor to the Angel Fund; $20 from an anonymous donor to the Angel Fund.

● Approved the sale of 11 inoperable buses, valued at $11,000.
