County Domestic Relations Court launches ElevateU 180
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Domestic Relations Court has launched ElevateU 180, a program developed by Judge Beth A. Smith and led by newly appointed Employment, Education, and Support Services Adviser (EESA), Ty Hobard. This strategic initiative reflects the court’s continued commitment to empowering families and promoting positive outcomes in litigants’ lives.
“ElevateU 180 represents a new chapter in how we support individuals navigating difficult transitions,” Smith said. “We are proud to offer resources that foster resilience, independence and long-term stability.”
ElevateU 180 addresses real-life challenges associated with divorce and domestic violence, particularly in cases where economic disparities are present. By helping individuals overcome barriers in core areas such as employment, education and essential services, ElevateU 180 aims to strengthen families, support children and uplift the community.
“ElevateU 180 is more than a service, it’s a turning point to elevate participants’ futures,” Hobard said.
The EESA is seeking opportunities to collaborate with new community organizations to expand the program’s reach. For more information about ElevateU 180 or to connect with staff, contact Hobard at 330-740-2213 ext.7703 or email tynesha.hobard@mahoningcountyoh.gov.
