YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State University Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, in partnership with Southern Park Mall, will present the Wellness Across the Lifespan Health Fair on Saturday.

The event runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southern Park Mall and will feature educational talks, hands-on demonstrations, interactive activities and free resources designed to promote health, fitness, wellness and preventive care for individuals and families.

Topics include:

• 10:15 a.m. — Mental health

• 11 a.m. — Managing arthritis

• 11:45 a.m. — Food is Medicine

• 12:30 p.m. — Accurate sources of health information

• 1:30 p.m. — Social media and child / teen mental health

• 2:30 p.m. — All about concussions with Erin Shilling and Alan Koren.

Demonstrations and activities include:

• 10:30 a.m. — Yoga with Theresa Minich (chair option available)

• 12:30 p.m. — Cooking demonstration: Healthy wraps

• 1:10 p.m. — 10-minute kids warm-up stretch with YSU students

•1:30 p.m. — Kids obstacle course (ages 3-12) or Punt / Pass / Kick in DeBartolo Commons with physical therapy, exercise science and athletic training students

The Wellness Across the Lifespan Health Fair is free and open to the public.
