The Ohio Department of Transportation on Friday released its list of road closures and adjustments for various construction projects in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

MAHONING COUNTY

•Starting Wednesday and ending Friday morning, Interstate 80 eastbound between the Ohio Turnpike and state Route 11 in Jackson and Austintown townships will have various lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for pavement repairs.

•Interstate 680 northbound has occasional lane restrictions from just north of Route 224 to state Route 170 in Youngstown and Boardman for noise wall installation. The estimated completion is late November.

•I-680 between Route 224 and state Route 164 in Beaver and Boardman townships has various lane restrictions for bridge repairs. The estimated completion is July 2026.

•Route 224 over Interstate 76 / Ohio Turnpike in Canfield Township is reduced to one lane in each direction through fall 2026 for a bridge replacement being performed by the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission.

•Route 224 between state Route 534 and the Portage County line in Berlin Township will have various lane restrictions for pavement repairs on Friday.

•U.S. Route 422 from state Route 616 to the Pennsylvania line in Coitsville Township will have various lane restrictions for resurfacing through October. Also, state Route 616 from just south of Notre Dame Drive to Cooper Road in Campbell will have various lane restrictions for paving.

•State Route 7 at Indianola Road / Shields Road has various lane restrictions for intersection improvements through June 2026.

•From noon until midnight Friday and Sept. 27, there will be road closures on state Route 7 / Market Street between Ridge Avenue and Front Street, and South Avenue between Hadnet Drive and East Boardman Street, both in Youngstown. Detours will be posted.

•There are lane restrictions on state Routes 14 and 165 for paving and bridge repairs in Beloit, Goshen, Green and Smith townships. These include Route 14 between the Portage and Columbiana county lines, and Route 165 from the northern limit of Beloit to Route 14. Estimated completion is late October.

•Route 170 southbound is closed from state Route 630 / Calla Road to Woodland Drive in Springfield Township through late October for pavement reconstruction. A detour is posted.

•Route 534 between Route 224 and Interstate 76 will have various lane restrictions on Wednesday for pavement repairs.

•McGaffney Road, River Road, Washington Street and Jackson Avenue from the eastern Lowellville limit to the western limit has various lane restrictions through the end of the month for restriping.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

•Interstate 80 in Hubbard Township just west of the Pennsylvania line has various lane restrictions for a pavement replacement project being overseen by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Motorists should expect delays in this area.

•State Route 11 from just north of state Route 82 to King Graves Road in Vienna has various lane restrictions for resurfacing through late September.

•Starting Friday, state Route 46 north and south under state Route 82 will be closed through mid-October for the Diverging Diamond project. Detours will be posted. Also, the ramp from Route 82 west to Route 46 south and the ramp from Route 82 eastbound to Route 46 north are closed through mid-October. Route 82 over Route 46 also has various lane restrictions.

•Elmwood Drive between state Route 304 and the northern Hubbard city limit has various lane restrictions for curb repairs and resurfacing through early November 2025.
