Man shot in arm, leg at East Midlothian bar
Staff report
YOUNGSTOWN — A man was shot in the arm and leg at a bar on East Midlothian Boulevard at 11:21 p.m. Thursday and was in stable condition later at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Police were called there for gunfire and somebody shot and were told the victim had left in an unknown car and was being taken to the hospital.
Two witnesses were questioned about the incident. Three bullet shell casings were found in the front (south) parking lot of the business, a police report states. One spent casing was found in front of another address that is apparently nearby, but the full address was not given as a result of the provisions of Marsy’s Law, which protects crime victims.
Police spoke with the victim at the hospital, but the only thing reported from that conversation was that he was shot in the arm and leg. A car in the parking lot was hit by a bullet in the front passenger side bumper, the report noted
