Police activity reported June 4-26:
June 26, 11:53 a.m. — Vehicle recovered at 200 Mill St. after it was found stuck in the mud on the property. An employee of Woodford Excavating was walking the property when he found the vehicle on a trail next to the Mahoning River. A&M Towing was called to the scene, but was unable to get the vehicle out.
10:25 a.m. — Champion police arrested Michael Conley who had an active warrant through Girard police and transported him to Trumbull County jail.
June 25, 10:05 p.m. — Missing person reported at 100 N. Market St., after a woman reported her daughter was missing from their home since June 24. The woman told police her daughter did not show up for work. The woman later found her daughter at a friend’s home.
June 17, 10:29 a.m. — A woman on North Market Street came to the police department to report that she and her family had been harassed and threatened by a man.
June 11, 10;14 a.m. — A man walking home from work on South Elruth Court near the scout cabin and Liberty Park Drive reported a person in a vehicle sped up and tried to hit him. The man had to jump into a ditch to avoid being struck. The man told police there were two males and two females in the vehicle.
June 10, 12:34 a.m. — Police found a disabled vehicle stuck in the mud off Pleasant Valley Road near the Girard Lake property. The driver in the vehicle told police she was trying to drive to the boat launch area. Police told the driver she was trespassing on the property, which had signs posted.
June 4, 4:35 p.m. — Juvenile runaway reported at 151 E. Wilson Ave. after a woman reported her granddaughter was missing. The woman told police her granddaughter told her she would be right back. Police checked the Kline Street area but did not find her.
