The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced road closures and adjustments for a variety of projects throughout Mahoning County.

U.S. Route 422 from state Route 616 to the Pennsylvania line and state Route 616 from just south of Notre Dame Drive to Cooper Road in Campbell and Coitsville will have lane restrictions for bridge repairs. The work started Monday and is expected to be completed in early October.

Also, state Route 170 southbound traffic in New Middletown will not be able to access Calla Road through Wednesday because of pavement reconstruction. The detour is U.S. Route 224 east to Pennsylvania Route 551 to Pennsylvania Route 317 to Calla Road, also known as state Route 630. Route 630 / Calla Road just west of Route 170 in Springfield Township is closed through early June.

Starting June 9, Route 170, just north of the Columbiana County line, will be closed through June 14 for a culvert replacement. The detour will be state Route 617 to state Route 165 to state Route 14 to Route 170.
