Rep. McNally appointed to Ireland Trade Commission

YOUNGSTOWN – State Rep. Lauren McNally, D-Youngstown, was appointed to the Ohio Ireland Trade Commission.

“This commission is an exciting new economic development tool for our state and I’m honored to be part of it,” she said. “Ohio has always had strong mutual trade with Ireland, but the more recent JobsOhio investment with AerLingus has really put a spotlight on that both here and in Europe. We need to keep the momentum going.”

The commission consists of nine members, with three appointed from the House, three from the Senate and three from the governor.

The commission will study economic and policy issues and potential business and academic exchanges with Ireland.

Starting at $3.23/week.
