Truck driver hurt in I- 80 crash
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP — The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Warren Post is investigating a crash involving two semi-trucks.
A white 2017 Volvo VNL driven by Deeq Mohamed, 42, of Burnsville, Minnesota, was traveling westbound on Interstate 80 at a reduced speed at 12:12 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the post.
The release states the truck was struck in the rear by a 2015 Volvo VNL driven
by Anmol Glover, 30, of Greenwood, Indiana.
Glover’s vehicle struck Mohamed’s vehicle from behind and then traveled off the right side of the highway.
Glover was transported from the scene to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown for the treatment of life-threatening injuries, while Mohamed was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation.
