Pa. store robbery suspect arrested in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN — Trey D. Bell is in the Mahoning County jail after being arrested Saturday in Youngstown in connection to a Dec. 26 armed robbery in Crafton, Pa., west of Pittsburgh.
Bell, 34, is from New Kensington, Pa., according to reports. The Allegheny County, Pa., Police Department reported on its Facebook page that the Crafton Police Department requested the assistance of the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit for an armed robbery at the T-Mobile store in Crafton. No one was injured.
The Allegheny County police reported they were attempting to locate Bell in relation to the investigation of the robbery. Bell was believed to be “unhoused and uses public transportation as his primary method of transportation,” the post stated.
Bell was known to have multiple active arrest warrants in Allegheny County, Pa., and “should be considered potentially armed and dangerous,” the post stated.
The Allegheny County Police Department updated an earlier post on Saturday indicating that Bell had been taken into custody Saturday in Youngstown and thanked those who “shared” information on the police department’s Facebook page regarding the investigation.
Bell appears to have no criminal record in Mahoning County. Mahoning County jail records show he is being held on charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, possession of criminal tools, obstructing official business and receiving stolen property.
