YOUNGSTOWN — A man Wednesday walked into St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with a gunshot wound he apparently received on the East Side, but a Youngstown police report does not provide any details regarding how the shooting took place.

The incident was reported at 9:37 p.m. and gives the incident location as Eastway Drive, which is the location of the Seneca Oaks Apartments near McGuffey Road and not far from the Ohio State Penitentiary on Coitsville-Hubbard Road.

The report does not state how seriously injured the man was, but it classifies the incident as felonious assault.
