WHAT: Village council meeting Wednesday

PRESENT: Sean Schmidt, Kyle Joynes, Kerry Reckard, Chad Jones, John Metzinger, Don Smith and Mayor Ray Lewis

Council:

l Entered into a 10-year agreement with Utility Services Co. for professional services for the water tower and the storage tank. Officials said the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires inspections to make sure the structures are in compliance and meet federal guidelines.

l Reminded residents leaf pickup is underway. Leaves should be raked to the curb for pickup and kept away from catch basins.

l Announced the planning commission will meet 5 p.m. Monday at the village administration building for a zone change from residential to commercial at 305 W. Marshall Road.

l Announced the annual Christmas in the Village tree lighting celebration is 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the village park and by the administration building.
