WHAT: City council meeting Monday
PRESENT: Reynald Paolone, Jeff Kay, Mark Standohar, Lily Martuccio, John Moliterno, Sam Zirafi and Mayor Mark Zuppo
ABSENT: Tom Grumley and Keith Schubert
Council:
•Heard from Law Director Brian Kren the city follows the state’s guidelines and regulations on what holidays and dates fireworks are permitted to be set off in the city. He said the state laws supersede the city’s previous guidelines.
•Heard from Safety / Service Director Sal Ponzio the plans for the Churchill Road pump station have been finalized and submitted for funding. The city is working with Burgess & Niple, an engineering and architecture firm headquartered in Columbus on the project.
•Heard from Zuppo that he will judge holiday decorations at different downtown business storefronts as part of Shop Small Business Saturday.
•Announced Christmas in the Park will be 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 21 at Tod Park.
•Will have security cameras installed by the boat launch and other areas due to vandalism.
•Canceled the Dec. 23 meeting due to the holidays.

PRESENT: Reynald Paolone, Thomas Grumley, Jeff Kay, Keith Schubert, San Zirafi, Lily Martuccio, John Moliterno and Mayor Mark Zuppo
ABSENT: Mark Standohar
Council:
•Were informed the city received a $2,500 cemetery grant to be used for improvements to the mausoleum.
•Recognized Paul Stevens of the street department and Robert Norman of the police department with the Willie Constantino Employees of the Month award for their service to the city.
•Will look into getting a new speaker service for public events allowing the public to hear speakers at events.
•Set a caucus session to review the ambulance service for 6:15 p.m. Nov. 25 followed by a 6:30 p.m. finance meeting.
