Mahoning County grand jury indicts 14, most on drug charges
YOUNGSTOWN — Fourteen people were indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury on a variety of charge, but most involved illicit drugs.
Those indicted are:
● Ajah Dawson, 26, Lake Drive, two counts of violating a protection order.
● Jessica L. Marker, 35, Lincoln Street, Struthers, two counts of identity fraud and one count of attempted grand theft of a motor vehicle.
● Patrick S. Paris, 58, Indian Trail, Poland, three counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them (OVI) with a specification of forfeiture of a vehicle.
● Mickayla M. Young, 27, St. Louis Avenue, aggravated drug possession and cocaine possession, both with a forfeiture specification, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
● Benjamin M. Kuhlen, 27, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
● Melissa A. Lamenza, 40, Mahoning County jail, two counts of counterfeiting.
● Marvis A. Brogdon, 41, Beaver Falls, Pa., fentanyl related compound trafficking, fentanyl related compound possession and cocaine possession, all with a forefeiture specification, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them (OVI), illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle or agricultural tractor without being in control of it.
● Steven VanPelt, 39, West Virginia Avenue, Sebring, tampering with evidence and carrying a concealed weapon.
● Theodore A. Ostavitz IV, 23, Mahoning County jail, fentanyl related compound possession.
● Michael C. Sears, 40, Stephens Street, two counts aggravated drug possession, fentanyl related compound possession, both with a forfeiture specification, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
● Said S. Rakilam, 26, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession.
● Shawn Jones, 35, Mahoning County jail, fentanyl related compound possession.
● Aiden Suren, 19, E. Philadelphia Avenue, cocaine possession with a forfeiture specification
● Logan M. Larlham, 26, E. Judson Avenue, aggravated drug possession, possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
