Youngstown holiday parade set Dec. 6

YOUNGSTOWN — The city’s downtown holiday celebration — which includes a parade, Christmas tree lighting and market – is set for Dec. 6.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with vendors on North Phelps Street as part of the Youngstown Flea on Phelps.
The parade will start at 6 p.m. with the Christmas tree lighting on Central Square to follow, approximately 7:15 p.m.
Santa’s Workshop, a pop-up shop and free pictures with Santa will be at the DeYor Performing Arts Center.
There are also commemorative mugs with drink specials at downtown bars and restaurants.
The Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County will have a pop-up library and free admission from 4 to 6 p.m. at OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology.
