Shoppers came from all over the area to shop at Boscov's at the Eastwood Mall in Niles on Tuesday for its annual Friends Helping Friends fundraiser. Joyce Warner of Mercer, Pa., wheels her loaded shopping cart through the aisles. The one-day event allowed shoppers, both in store and online, to choose a nonprofit organization to support. Shoppers could buy a $5 shopping pass good for 25% off the store's lowest sale prices. The $5 was donated to a charity of their choice. Approximately 75 nonprofits from Mahoning, Trumbull and Mercer counties sold the passes.
