Mahoning Planning Commission OKs Poland development
POLAND TOWNSHIP — The Mahoning County Planning Commission has approved the preliminary plat for the creation of 16 lots on a new 1,211-foot street called Hines Run just south of the Inn at Poland Way senior living facility on U.S. Route 224.
Dave Kosec of Hengst LLC, the project developer, presented information on the project Tuesday to the planning commission at its regular monthly meeting at the planning commission offices in Austintown.
Kosec said the project can be called “villas” or “homes” and the project will continue with the Ridgely Farms development that began years ago.
The first 40 acres were completed earlier, and this project will continue with that development,
Kosec said.
Michael O’Shaughnessy, executive director of the Mahoning County Planning Commission, said the developer wants to begin construction as soon as possible.
