Liberty woman indicted on prostitution and soliciting

YOUNGSTOWN — A Liberty woman has been indicted on promoting prostitution and four specifications of forfeiture of property, plus possessing criminal tools and soliciting in connection to an August human trafficking investigation by the Beaver Township Police Department and Mahoning County Human Trafficking Task Force.

Aixin Cheng, 53, of Belmont Avenue, could get a couple of years in prison if convicted of the two low-level felonies and one misdemeanor.

She was arraigned on similar charges in Mahoning County Area Court in Canfield on Aug. 20 and pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge. No plea was required on the two felonies.

The charges stemmed from an investigation regarding solicitation offenses at a building located at 9215 Market St. Unit 7 in North Lima.

Others indicted by the grand jury this week include:

• Herman Posey III, 46, Mahoning county jail, vehicular assault, failure to stop after an accident and driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation.

• Cassandra J. Badini, 35, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Andre L. Leonard, 50, West Princeton Avenue, theft.

• Rahim M. Watkins, 45, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession.

• Hunter D. Brown, 21, Mahoning County jail, trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present.

• Tylin J. Fairchild, 31, of Akron, theft.

• Edward R. Mills, 42, Mahoning County jail, assault and resisting arrest.

•Antaun D. Moore, 28, Maryknoll Drive, Campbell, assault, obstructing official bu

siness and resisting arrest.

• Jason E. Gibson, 46, Lakeside Drive, Mineral Ridge, failure to comply with an order of a police officer.

• Scott C. Mills, 54, of New Castle, Pa., cocaine possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Damian J. Ferrainola, 41, Court Street, New Waterford, fentanyl-related compound possession and having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.

• Angela Y. Harris, 44, South Truesdale Avenue, fentanyl-related compound possession.

• Matthew J. Brayman Jr., 29, Rush Circle, Austintown, failure to comply with an order of a police officer, child endangering and operating a motor vehicle or motorcycle without a valid license.

• Loredana Vaduva, 26, Mahoning County jail, receiving stolen property, possessing criminal tools and misdemeanor theft.

• Alexandru R. Vaduva, 20, Mahoning County jail, receiving stolen property, possessing criminal tools and misdemeanor theft.

• Michael J. Rea, 39, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Luis Deleon Otero, 29, Mahoning County jail, two counts of felonious assault.

• Jacob A. Carter, 26, 6th Street, Beloit, burglary, possessing criminal tools, contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child, criminal damaging or endangering, receiving stolen property and attempted theft.

•Joseph E. Grove, 37, Mahoning County jail, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, tampering with evidence, assault, obstructing official business and attempted drug possession.

• Marquia L. Burroughs, 33, Parkview Avenue, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, cocaine possession and misdemeanor drug possession.
