The American Heart Association’s annual Tri-County Heart Ball, held Thursday at Eastwood Event Centre, raised more than $273,000 and set an attendance record with 350 people.

Christina Dascenzo, chair of the 2024 event, said “having record attendance at an event to support a cause that is so meaningful to us is incredible,”

She said the heart ball raised $23,000 more in sponsorships than the previous year.
