YOUNGSTOWN — The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation will host a voter registration drive with the League of Women Voters 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the JCC, 505 Gypsy Lane.

Participants will be able to register to vote and check their voter registration status. Absentee ballot request forms and polling site location information will be available.

Sept. 17 is National Voter Registration Day. Founded in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is designed to create an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right — the right to vote.

The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation represents the Jewish communities of Mahoning and Trumbull counties in Ohio and Mercer and Lawrence Counties in Pennsylvania to safeguard the rights of Jews here, in Israel, and around the world.
