YOUNGSTOWN — The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Brandon T. Kennedy, 31, today on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault in a Nov. 17, 2023, crash at Alameda and Juanita avenues on the North Side.

The 9:20 a.m. crash killed a 12-year-old and injured three other people.

The Youngstown Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Kennedy, and officers with the task force initiated a search for him. He was arrested this morning at a residence on Broadview Avenue in Girard, according to a task force press release.
