Man suffers shot Saturday night in ‘noncriminal incident’
YOUNGSTOWN — A man with a gunshot wound was dropped off at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, according to a brief Youngstown police report.
Police received the notification of the victim at 8:27 p.m. Saturday and were informed the shooting took place on Catalina Avenue on the North Side.
The report calls the shooting a “noncriminal incident,” but does not give a reason why or state the seriousness of the man’s wound.
