WARREN — The Hot Dog Shoppe in Warren is helping the Healthy Hearts and Paws Project in Warren with an auction 2 to 7 p.m. today at the restaurant, 740 W. Market St., for its iconic outdoor sign.

The event also will include a basket raffle with several donated baskets from local businesses, said Jason Cooke, CEO of Healthy Hearts and Paws.

The winning bid for the sign will be selected at 7 p.m.

Healthy Hearts and Paws helps abandoned dogs and cats get their needed shots and care.

During the renovations to the exterior of the Hot Dog Shoppe, the exterior sign was removed and replaced.
