Youngstown man indicted on child-rape charges

YOUNGSTOWN — Michael T. Alexander, 49, Quentin Drive, was indicted Thursday on six counts of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and three counts of sexual battery.

He was booked into the Mahoning County jail on Friday after being taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and remains in the jail.

He is alleged to have sexually assaulted a juvenile over a period of five years, beginning when the alleged victim was 12. If Alexander is convicted, he could get more than 60 years in prison. He is likely to be arraigned within the next couple of weeks in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Ashley N. Cervello, 38, of the same address on Quentin Drive, was indicted Thursday on charges of bribery and misdemeanor intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness. She is accused of making statements to the alleged victim following the alleged victim’s disclosures, according to prosecutors. If Cervelllo is convicted, she could get several years in prison.

She also was booked into the Mahoning County jail Friday after being taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and remains in the jail.

Other people indicted Thursday are:

● Keishaun A. Sims, 26, North Raccoon Road, Austintown, two counts of assault.

● Allen G. Torres, 28, Mahoning County jail, felonious assault with a firearm specification, two counts of having weapons while not allowed, two counts of falsification and single counts of illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises, improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and obstructing official business.

● Spencer T. Borom, 35, Mahoning County jail, failure to comply with the order of a police officer and two counts of obstructing official business.

● Marcus J. Thomas, 39, East Chalmers Avenue, passing bad checks.

● Larry R. Wylie, 61, Crumlin Avenue, Girard, two counts of improper handling firearms in a motor vehicle, and two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them (OVI).

● Patrick S. McGinnis, 56, South Davis Street, Girard, cocaine possession.

● Bobbi J. Kosmo, 43, Wakefield Avenue, aggravated drug possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

● Maurice A. Pickard, 24, Deer Creek Court, Austintown, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them (OVI).

● Ruben N. Marrero-Sanchez, 28, Livingston Street, aggravated drug possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case and drug possession.

● Tera E. Guy, 33, Pheasant Run Road SE, Warren, cocaine possession and aggravated drug possession.

● Donald D. Daniel, 22, Arms Boulevard, Niles, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case, retaliation, intimidation, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

● Treshaun D. White, 28, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession, cocaine possession and fentanyl related compound possession.

● Ervin C. May III, 24, East Ravenwood Avenue, fentanyl related compound possession and cocaine possession, both with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

● Miguel A. Camacho-Sanchez, 38, West Philadelphia Avenue, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

● Ariel S. Daniel, 32, Mahoning County jail, robbery and misdemeanor theft.

● David P. Manigault, 47, Fairview Avenue, two counts of carrying a concealed weapon.
