Woman indicted on 32 counts in puppy enterprise

YOUNGSTOWN — April L. Waidman, 40, of West Pine Lake Road in Beloit was indicted Thursday on 17 counts of felony theft, 14 counts of petty theft and one count of theft from a person in a protected class for allegedly taking payments for puppies that she never provided.

Waidman is a breeder of English Bulldogs and Dachshunds. A number of civil actions have been filed against her in Mahoning County by unhappy customers.

The charges in Woodman’s indictment date back as far as December 2018 and as recently as last month.

Others indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury are:

•Robert L. Massey, 28, Brush Road, East Rochester, passing bad checks.

•Kelly M. Kraeling, 43, Dutch Lane, Hermitage, Pa., two counts of assault and one each of obstructing official business and vandalism.

•Henry A. Garner, 60, Parkcliffe Avenue, Boardman, felony theft and two counts of misdemeanor theft.

•Zachary A. Abdallah, 22, Autumnwood Lane, Brunswick, breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools, attempted misdemeanor theft and criminal damaging.

•Rylan V. Polojac, 24, Mahoning County jail, three counts of vandalism, three counts of possessing criminal tools, three counts of tampering with coin machines and three counts of misdemeanor theft.

•Jason C. Culberson, 36, Willowrow Avenue NE, Canton, passing bad checks and theft.

•Andrew Petersen IV, 43, McTaggart Road N.W., Canal Fulton, aggravated drug possession; operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them — OVI; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Keyshawn M. Chism, 22, Wilhelm Street, Struthers, aggravated drug possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

•Larnell J. Hall, 40, East Midlothian Boulevard, having weapons while under disability.

•Harry W. Cotterman, 42, Chambers Street, Campbell, failure to verify address.

•Logan M. Larlham, 26, East Judson Avenue, failure to register.

•Charles L. Crosby Jr., 31, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case and fentanyl related compound possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

•Vincent L. McGary, 44, Southern Boulevard, two counts of fentany-related compound trafficking and one count of fentanyl-related compound possession.
