YOUNGSTOWN — West Federal Street between Market and Phelps streets will close starting Monday as part of a downtown improvement project, and should reopen around Aug. 1.

Also, Market Street southbound at Federal Street will be closed Monday for about two weeks while the northbound lane will reopen Monday.

There will be short-term temporary closures because of the work at the Phelps and Market streets intersections of West Federal Street.

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained along West Federal Street.
