25 Valley women are nominated for 2024 ATHENA Award

This year’s 25 nominees for the 31st annual ATHENA Award program, which celebrates the accomplishments of outstanding professional women in the Mahoning Valley, have been announced.

The award and award dinner are presented by the Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber and The Vindicator.

The dinner will take place May 16 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield. A cocktail reception for all guests will start at 5 p.m., with the program and dinner starting at 6:15 p.m. Tickets cost $100 per person.

The 2024 nominees are:

● Sarah Brown-Clark, retired Youngstown Municipal Court clerk of courts

● Melissa Capple, chief operating officer, United Network Alliance

● Deanna Clement, partner, McConnell Marketing

● Michelle Crawford, chief financial officer, Mercy Health-Youngstown

● Gina DeGenova, Mahoning County prosecutor

● Stacia Erdos, regional development executive of Trumbull, Mahoning and Jefferson counties, Coleman Health Services

• Jennifer Frank, professor, Bitonte College of Health and Human Services, Youngstown State University

• Shari Harrell, retired president, Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley

• Megan Hughes, director of operations, Discover Global / DuraTerrain
