WEATHERSFIELD — A raid conducted by the Trumbull Action Group Drug Task Force and other local agencies turned up approximately 74 grams of suspected methamphetamine from a township residence Tuesday.

The search warrant was the result of a drug trafficking investigation as well as several drug overdoses having been reported at the residence, according to a news release from TAG. The release does not name a suspect, but it states criminal charges are expected to be filed.

The task force was assisted by the Howland, Brookfield and Weathersfield police departments.
