Waterline replacement to close part of bike trail in Weathersfield
WEATHERSFIELD — A section of the Niles Greenway Bike Trail will be closed to pedestrian and bike traffic for about two weeks starting Feb. 22 to allow for a waterline replacement.
According to a post on the township’s Facebook page, the path will be closed between Ohltown McDonald and Salt Springs roads as the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District replaces a 36-inch transmission line. The part of the path set to close runs alongside MVSD’s property.
