WHAT: Village council Jan. 18

PRESENT: Sean Schmidt, Kyle Joynes, Kerry Reckard, Chad Jones, John Metzinger, Don Smith and Mayor Ray Lewis.

Council:

• Approved starting a village Facebook page with information on village events and news only. There will be no access for people to make comments.

• Reminded the public that a village permit must be obtained for door-to-door solicitation.

• Is waiting to hear about a grant to cover street paving costs.

• Formed a levy review committee to discuss a possible safety service levy to cover costs for police and fire services.
