Man charged with attempted murder booked into county jail

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a Sept. 5, 2023, shooting is in the Mahoning County jail.

Anthony Gray was booked into the jail on Friday by the Youngstown Police Department, according to the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office website.

U.S. Marshals asked for help in locating Gray in December.

Gray was charged with attempted murder following the shooting of a man after a two-vehicle accident on the Madison Avenue Expressway in Youngstown.

The attempted murder charge was filed in Youngstown Municipal Court the same day as the incident, records show.
