WHAT: Board of Education meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: John Saganich, Joe Cappuzzello, Donna Shields, Jody Klase and Jessica Krumpak
The Board:
• Recognized Saganich for his 12 years of service and Cappuzzello for his six years of service on the board. Both are done as board members at the end of the year.
• Accepted the retirement resignation of Renee Ifft, high school math teacher, effective May 31, 2024. She had been a teacher previously in Niles.
• Entered into a contract with S&S Tree Service for snow plowing and salting purposes. Snow removal will be $350 per removal when there is 2 inches or more.
• Increased substitute pay for bus drivers to $17 per hour, cook $12 per hour, domestic and custodian to $15 per hour, educational aide $11 per hour and secretary $13 per hour.
