WHAT: Board of Education meeting Wednesday
PRESENT: Mark Zuppo, Diane Alejars, Sue Ellen Davis, Joseph Datchuk and Vince Ragozine
The board:
• Is reviewing options on the performing arts center as bids came in higher than expected for the proposed project. Zuppo said the board may scale back some aspects of the project.
• Set the organizational meeting for 5 p.m. Jan. 4 at the high school media center.
• Approved out-of-state travel for non-bordering states by the Girard baseball team.
• Accepted the retirement resignation of Andrea Biss as bus driver who served the district for 24 years.
