Her husband, Ron, 52, died shortly after the crash. Their son, Hunter, 24, also was seriously injured, but he is expected to recover.

According to reports, the Solevsky family was leaving the airport in a ride-share vehicle when the car was struck head-on by another vehicle being pursued by police just before 11 p.m. They were in Florida visting family, according to a GoFundMe page created by a family member.

A Florida State Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop a stolen Ford Mustang on a bridge when the driver rammed his cruiser, a report states. The driver took off at high speeds along Interstate 275 before colliding with the Dodge Caravan carrying the Solvesky family. The Uber driver also died in the crash, troopers said.

The man driving the stolen Mustang, Leosvany Arias Roman, 22, of Hialeah, Florida, also was seriously injured. He is being charged with felony murder and vehicular homicide, among other charges.

The GoFundMe page had raised $58,705 as of Saturday night. The goal was $50,000.

Staci Solvesky bought the salon from her parents 12 years ago. They opened it in the 1990s, according to an article that appeared in The Vindicator on Oct. 22.
