‘Miracle on Easy Street’: Multitudes forge marvel covering 34 years

Annual holiday extravaganza will feature 62 dancers

The musical revue “Miracle on Easy Street” features more than 60 dancers performing choreographed routines to holiday favorites.

It takes a lot of people to make a miracle.

More than 180 performers will take the stage at Power Auditorium over the weekend for the three public performances of Easy Street Productions’ “Miracle on Easy Street.”

Some, like Easy Street co-founders Maureen Collins and Todd Hancock, have been making miracles for 34 years. Others will be taking their first steps on the historic stage that is more than 90 years old.

Making this holiday season even busier than usual is that the company staged another show at Powers, the musical dance revue “Gotta Dance,” at the beginning of November.

“I just realized this will be the first time since August we won’t have 100 people coming in and out of this building,” Collins said earlier this week.

Collins and Hancock will be joined by James McClellan, Colleen Chance, Katy Collins, Candace Campana and Cortney MacKay.

The cast features a team of 62 dancers choreographed by Megan Cleland: Lexie Alexander, Lauren Armes, Ellason Aspenleiter, Gabriella Barbone, Hannah Bishop, Aliyana Broderick, Breyelle Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Julianna Brubaker, Reghan Buie, Candace Campana, Emma Capogreco, Giana Castle, Megan Cleland, Alaynna D’Angelo, Colleen Davis, Alex Hagood Derthick, Maggie Dunlap, Jayden Edington, Olivia Fennema, Alyssa Frank, Kaitlyn Frenger, Kiley Frenger, Ava Gaffney, Quinn Gaffney, Olivia Groscost, Macey Guerra, Maddie Handel, Leah Kovacs, Alexia Little, Danielle Little, Olivia Madura, Jillian Malish, Christine Marenkovic, Matilda Maustellar, Maddie Massuri, Aubrey Middlestead, Madelyn Miller, Madison Nickels, Leeshy O’Connell, Alexis Pomponio, Katherine Pomponio, Jimmy Puhalla, Jaylyn Racick, Jordyn Racick, Carmela Ragozzino, Julia Ragozzino, Mia Sciola, Lilly Scriber, Ava Semenovich, Madelyn Sipusic, Brittany Sellers, Brooklyn Sellers, Larkin Stanford, Gia Stevens, Harlow Stone, Reagan Tedesco, Reagan Trocci, Kaylee Trolio, Kamillie Truslow, Alayna Valley, Lena Zavadil and Georgie Zordich.

“The dancers all came back from last year, which made Megan’s job so much easier,” Collins said. “That’s why we were able to do it three weeks (after `Gotta Dance’ ended).”

Then there are nine Teen Rascals who will do all three public performances: Zoe Anderson, Aleah Hall, Hannah Harnutovsky, Caleb Mackay, Aubrey Middlestead, Finn O’Hara, Eliza Primous, Kaden Primous and Georgie Zordich.

The family show always has been filled with children, and Collins has been working with about 75 Little Rascals that are divided into two casts.

The group performing for Friday’s opening performance includes Patrick Blascak, Huxley Boyle, Erin Brindle, Maggie Brindle, Carlina Carbon, Scarlett Carbon, Alex Cook, Sadie Crespo, Mira Greenwalt, Brynley Ihnat, Devin Joy, Macey Kapics, Maevyn Komives, Melody Larson, Cylina Lively, Tabitha Mentzer, Julianna Moore, Ainsley Neil, Eliana O’Dea, Adrianna Osso, Adelina Pilolli, Isabella Pilolli, Ellah Primous, Jakob Primous, Lukas Primous. Rylen Primous, Addison Ratliff, Nora Russo, Breona Samuels, Scarlett Shales, Walker Shales, Amaya Slipski, Makenna Slipski, Sawyer Sorvillo, Sully Sorvillo, Addison TenEyke, Aubrie Trolio and Hudson Walker.

The Little Rascals on Saturday and Sunday will be: Zoey Aspenleiter. Ariana Bartos, Henry Buzzacco, Lexi Chance, Ella Creed, Mya Crockett, Annabeth Davidson, Madelynn Dota, Eliana Duritza, Blake Gabler, Caterina Ghizzoni, Avery Hall, Emma Hall, Gigi Hershfieldt, Peyton Holmes, Sadie Hunt, Ellie Jennings, Mason Kunkel, Riley LaRocca, Madison Liguore, Melody Lowery, Jillian Malish, Rosie Manning, Cloe Moison, Daniel Moison, Gabby Moran, Hannah Peterson, George Pilatos, Nikola Pilatos, Panteli Pilatos, Emilie Roberts, Brynlee Schellhorn, Samantha Schellhorn, Kyrene Sharlock, Ella Vernal, Emmy Vivo, Macey Vivo and Lilyanna Young.

Finally there are three groups of Mini Rascals.

The minis for opening night are Evie Eddy, Finley Mahon, Michelina Medina, Emma O’Connell, Charlotte Persin, Callum Rodemoyer and Maeve Tekac.

Saturday’s cast includes Rylie Bonacci, Angelo Herman, Ollie Kunkel, Charlotte Miller, Hayley Reed, Cody Shaw and Annie Zuzik.

Performers for Sunday’s matinee will be Alessia Brown, Raelynn Brown, Aviana Carpenter, Olivia Ciapala, Adalyn Ghizzoni, Liliana Narducci, Macy Padeuran and Anastasios Pilatos.

All of them are accompanied by the Easy Street Little Big Band led by Don Yallech.

After “Miracle” was relegated to being a television program for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show got a major overhaul when it returned to live performances in 2022.

“We added six new songs last year, and they’ll all be back,” Collins said. “We used to hear, `Are you changing it this year?’ but we don’t hear that much anymore … Where else can you see something guaranteed to make you feel ready for the holidays? That’s what people tell us. It lives on because people want to see it every year.”
