Hubbard man arrested in weekend shooting

HUBBARD — City officers were dispatched to a shooting on Center Street around 6:20 p.m. Saturday.
According to an incident report, James Craft, 63, 543 Center St., was arrested and charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony. The scene was cleared by 11:22 p.m. Craft is being held in the Trumbull County jail. No bond was set because the charge is a felony.
According to Girard Municipal Court records, Craft also was charged with having weapons under disability.
The Hubbard Police Department has not released additional information, including the victim’s name. The investigation is ongoing.
No further court dates have been set, according to court records.
