ALL SOULS’ DAY: In remembrance of All Souls’ Day, Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St., Warren, will be lit with hundreds of candles for a service of compliance 7 p.m. Nov. 5. The ancient liturgy will feature chants and hymns sung by the men of the parish choir.

UGANDAN CLERGYMAN: St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 2229 Reeves Road, Warren, will host the Rev. Simon Menya, a clergyman form Northern Ugana, at 6 p.m. Nov. 8. He will discuss how villages in his region of Northern Uganda are recovering from two decades of civil wars. The event will be fundraiser to learn of his ministry and help support his efforts.

RETREAT: Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center offers a special virtual retreat / conference from Ireland on Nov. 3 to 5 with Diarmuid O’Murchu, who will present “How Evolution is Changing our Faith in the 21st Century.”

O’Murchu, a member of the Sacred Heart Missionary Order, and a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, is a social psychologist who has spent most of working life has been in social ministry.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, with Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom and Temple El Emeth, will honor the memories of the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting at a service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom, 1119 Elm. St.

On Oct. 27, 2018, 11 people were murdered as they worshiped in a Pittsburgh synagogue. The tragedy was the most heinous antisemitic attack in U.S. history.

ROSARY RALLY: The eighth annual Greater Youngstown Area Our Lady of Fatima Public Square Rosary Rally will be at noon today at St. Anne Church, Kirk and Raccoon roads in Austintown. There will be a public recitation to pray the Rosary in solidarity with 20,000 other rallies across the nation. Divine Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. and a Eucharistic procession will begin at 11:30 a.m. Prayers will be said for America.

A speaker from the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board will discuss how to recognize signs of a mental health crisis, how to ask the right questions and where to go for help. HOMECOMING EVENT: In anticipation of its reopening, St. Patrick Church in Hubbard will host a Harvest Homecoming Wine and Craft Beer Tasting 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church grounds, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard. The $50 admission includes hearty hors d’oeuvres and wine selections provided by Gatehouse Winery and Woodland Cellars Winery and Craft Beer, as well as a selection of desserts.

MARRIAGE EVENT: The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown’s Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Ministry is sponsoring a second Wedding Anniversary Celebration this year to honor couples who are observing their 25th, 40th, 50th or over anniversaries in 2023.

The celebration will take place 2 p.m. Sunday at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton. The celebration will include Mass with Bishop David Bonnar.

EVENING PRAYER: The Lutheran-Catholic Covenant Commission (Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown and the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) will host an Ecumenical Evening Prayer celebrating the Lutheran-Catholic Covenant, 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3295 S.
