YOUNGSTOWN — Raymond M. Bowman, 26, of Crum Road in Austintown, who was indicted Thursday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on charges of assault and obstructing official business, also was indicted last week on sex charges.

His Thursday indictments stem from his arrest Oct. 13 on the sex charges. If he is convicted of the Thursday charges, he could get a couple of years in prison.

The sex charges could result in a life prison sentence if convicted. The sex charges are three counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition.

They stem from a March complaint filed by the mother of a child alleging that Bowman touched the child inappropriately. Bowman denied the allegations.

Bowman was arraigned on the rape and gross sexual impositions charges Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Oct. 13, Austintown police made a traffic stop on Bowman’s vehicle and discovered he had warrants on the rape and gross sexual imposition indictments. Reports state that Bowman kicked an officer in the knee and was otherwise not cooperative with police during his arrest and transport to the Mahoning County jail.

Also indicted Thursday are:

• Javeon M. Bebbs, 19, East Lucius Avenue, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

• Eugene G. Thompkins, 32, E. Midlothian Boulevard, having weapons while not allowed and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle.

• Antwan M. Grissett, 53, West LaClede Avenue, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

• Justin S. Lennon, 25, North Mecca Street, Cortland, fentanyl related compound possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case and cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case.

• Nathan L. Antenori, 36, Mahoning County jail, trespass into a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present.

• Amanda L. Hudson, 38, North 12th Street, Sebring, cocaine possession, fentanyl related compound possession, permitting drug abuse, possession of drug abuse instruments and making false allegations of peace officer misconduct.

• Kaine L. Copeland, 33, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession, fentanyl related compound possess, aggravated drug possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Stephen D. Comer, 43, E. Auburndale Ave., theft.

• Kenneth D. Stoffer, 39, Scioto Ave., cocaine possession, failure to stop after an accident involving the property of others and obstructing official business.

• Breyonna J. Moore, 30, Mahoning County jail, assault and obstructing official business.

• Victoria L. Hawkins, 32, Westminster Avenue, Austintown, two counts of child endangering and one count of domestic violence.

• Jhanette S. Shipp, 29, Westminster Ave, Austintown, two counts of child endangering and one count of domestic violence.

• Kevin A. Gibbs, 26, Edwards Street, failure to verify address.

• Robert L. Sanchez, 41, last known address, Community Corrections Association, 1806 Market St., failure to provide notice of change of address.

• Armand Taylor, 30, Northeast Ohio Correctional Center, assault.
